Your IT Depot is now “Your Entertainment Depot” as well!

We are proud to announce our Games Room is now up and operational. The main gaming room consists of 6 TVs and is capable of  hosting both system link and Xbox Live multi-player or single player games, plus we have the open room with the big-screen TV for games such as DDR and Donkey Konga!

There is no need to go hungry while playing - we have a snack bar complete with a wide selection of chips, chocolate and candy, as well as a drinks (pop, juice, Bawls, etc.) refrigerator! You won’t soon be uncomfortable; each TV is equipped with a comfy leather chair! Why would you ever want to leave?

For the greatest game experience, we have an ever-growing selection of head-to-head games that will keep you coming back for more. Our selection consists of Counter-Strike, Project Gotham Racing 2, the ever so popular Halo and Halo 2, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, R63 and R63 Black Arrow, and much, much more! We will also allow you to bring in your own games to play!

Taking our gaming to the next level, we are now the official iGames Center for Fort McMurray! iGames allows us to give our players a truly unique experience. You are now able to compete in tournaments hosted by us, and possibly continue right up to a national and even international level!! For the less competitive gamers, iGames gives you the ability to demo new released games (even some unreleased) in various events hosted by Your IT Depot!

More options are available for those who like team play. We give players the ability to create clans and come duke it out. We will keep track of all scores, and rank these clans accordingly, and possibly provide prizes to the top clans! We now give clans the ability build a website from our Templated Websites to be able to show off their pride.

Games Room attendance is available for anyone 16 years of age and older, and gamers are reminded to call before coming by, we are not always here!  We are also available to do birthday party rentals, corporate team building functions and group party bookings.

With all of these features we ask only 3 things from you. Bring your own controller if possible, we do rent our controllers out but they are in limited supply and may not be the style you prefer. Secondly, bring all your friends! We at Your IT Depot want to see you have the utmost fun using our facility; part of the fun is playing together! Third and finally, HAVE FUN!!

YITD Games Room Pricing (Cash and Debit payments accepted, no Credit Cards)

All prices listed are per person:

1. Hourly Rate – 27" TV.............................................................$4.00 per hour

2. Controller Rental.....................................................................$3.00 per visit

Users are encouraged to bring in their own controller, which we will gladly label for you to identify it as yours! We have an assortment of controllers available including the original Controllers, the smaller S-Controllers, AirFlo Controllers, etc. Units will be on a first-come, first-served basis. User is responsible for the rental unit and if broken due to misuse, will be charged the standard market price for a replacement. User is responsible to turn in their rental unit at the end of their gaming time.

3. Xbox Live Account Rental......................................................$2.00 per hour

Users are encouraged to bring their own headsets to use with the rental Live account. Memory Cards with the Live account will be on a first-come, first-served basis. User is responsible for the rental Memory Card and if broken due to misuse, will be charged the standard market price for a replacement. User is responsible to turn in their rental Memory Card at the end of their gaming time.

4. MadCatz Steering Wheel and Foot Pedals..........................$4.00 per visit

Units will be on a first-come, first-served basis. User is responsible for the rental unit and if broken due to misuse, will be charged the standard market price for a replacement. User is responsible to turn in their rental unit at the end of their gaming time.

5. Steel Battalion Controller and Foot Pedals..........................$12.00 per hour
Hourly rate is for both the game time, and the controller, on the big-screen TV. As these items cannot be replaced at a reasonable cost, the hourly rental is higher, but ask everyone who has seen it - it's worth the fee!

6. Room Rentals
The room is available for reservations for parties, and pricing will be negotiated based on use of room and equipment, length of time booked, etc.

7. Games
Your IT Depot Ltd. has a limited number of Xbox, PS2, GameCube, N64 and SNES games available for play, which will be signed out for use by one user and must be signed back in by the same user. All YITD Games Room games will be marked with our name. Should you desire to bring your own copy of a game in to play, we will require you to sign it in and out as well, so we can track ownership.

YITD Games Room Guidelines

  1. Respect the Equipment – TVs, Game Consoles, Controllers, and furniture are not inexpensive toys. It is costly equipment that requires care and courteous handling. Any deliberate abuse will earn you a bill, and/or have you removed from the YITD Games Room.
  2. Respect Other Players – Gaming is a competition, but it is also a social activity. The other players want the same opportunity you do to play and enjoy themselves. Trash talk within a gaming context is one thing, physical and/or verbal abuse is something else and will not be tolerated.
  3. Respect the Room – It's nice to find things where you expect them to be in the YITD Games Room. It's also nice not to find trash littering the floors. Your mother does not live here! Garbage cans are available for trash, recycle cans are available for bottles and cans. If the cans are full, please inform a staff member.
  4. Controllers are available for rent, but it is preferred that you bring you own. We will label it for you to ensure you know which is yours!
  5. This is a NON-SMOKING establishment. There will be no smoking within the facility, or outside around the building.
  6. This is an alcohol-free and drug-free establishment. If you arrive 'under the influence', you may be asked to leave. If the management discovers you trying to deal, we will inform the RCMP, and you will be banned from this establishment!
  7. No outside food and drink to be brought into the YITD Games Room, except during pre-booked parties. Munchies, pop, juice and bottled water are available for purchase within our establishment.
  8. Due to the ratings of several games that are available for play within the YITD Games Room, no one under the age of 16 years will be allowed in for competition or open gaming time unless we have met with a guardian and both the guardian and Your IT Depot Ltd's management have approved the under-age gamer for play.
  9. Your IT Depot Ltd. reserves the right to take and post photos of gaming action and gamers within the establishment and on their websites. If you prefer not to have your picture taken, we will respect your wishes to the best of our ability.
  10. Your IT Depot Ltd. reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual.

Rules and Guidelines for YITD Xbox Live Servers:

  1. No discrimination or racial remarks toward other players, poking fun at and name calling is one thing, insulting name calling or excessive swearing is not tolerated.
  2. No annoying behaviors such as: singing in the microphone, making aggravating noises, just plain out being annoying!
  3. No cheating or purposely using in-game glitches to your advantage.
  4. No being an in-game annoyance - team killing, door blocking…etc. Friendly fire and punish team kill are both ON, idiots will be booted.
  5. Leaving the server to avoid penalties for team killing etc. will not be tolerated. If you commit the crime, do the time!
  6. Just plain out don’t be a jackass.
  7. Drugs are illegal! As such we do not want to hear about them or hear anyone doing them on the server and YES, this means marijuana as well!

Failure to follow server guidelines will earn you one verbal warning. After the one verbal warning, you will be banned from our server.
